As the #1-ranked multifamily architecture firm in North America, Humphreys & Partners heavily relies on our talented team members from around the globe to create innovative, one-of-a-kind communities. As the communications manager, Jenny’s responsibilities include managing all internal communications, brand awareness, media relations, and campaign creation and execution. She performs a wide range of communication-related initiatives including the creation of the monthly newsletter, yearly award submissions and announcements, press release creation and distribution, and website maintenance. Get to know Jenny outside the office and see what makes her a true icon of #HumphreysHeroes culture:

What is your alma mater?

I attended the University of North Texas in Denton where I received a B.A. in Psychology and Journalism with a concentration in Strategic Communications, and a minor in Business Management. (I clearly had a difficult time selecting a major lol).

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in a suburb of Dallas in Carrollton, Texas. It was possibly the most wholesome town to raise a child.

What are your hobbies outside of the office?

I enjoy anything outdoors. Hiking, camping, riding my bike, running, volleyball anything sports-related. I also really love volunteering at my church where I serve as a 4th-grade Sunday school teacher. The kids are so fun and full of joy. I really love investing in them.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? And why?

Anywhere I can feel God. I would love the opportunity to explore Switzerland. The way the mountains cascade over the quaint little towns below combined with the vibrant green rolling hills. It’s simply mesmerizing.

What would be your last meal?

Del Friscos’ famous bacon Mac & Cheese along with a 6oz medium-rare steak and a nice paired cabernet.

What is the best concert you have ever been to?

Geeze. What a loaded question! I’ll never forget watching Brad Paisley in 2007 on the lawn at the Smirrnof center at Fair Park. When he sang “She’s Everything” my heart completely melted. What a show!

What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?

I truly enjoy making people feel seen and appreciated. Every day HPA provides me an opportunity to tell a story – from a basic award submission or blog post to highlighting an employee for their hard work, I have the privilege of using my purpose to truly make an impact. I feel so incredibly blessed to do what I love here at HPA.
