As Regional Director, Danny Baldassaro is responsible for a wide variety of tasks. His primary focus is on two areas – managing and supporting our local production and construction administration teams and assisting with business development efforts with a heavy focus on providing a positive client experience. Let’s get to know Danny outside (and inside) the office and see what makes him a true icon of #HumphreysHeroes culture:
- What is your Alma mater?
I attended Tulane University in my hometown of New Orleans and recently completed a non-credit course on Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning.
- Where did you grow up?
New Orleans, Louisana.
- What are your hobbies outside of the office?
I enjoy mentoring others – both at work and in my personal life. I especially enjoy teaching about topics I am passionate about. I think this is what led me to become a Boy Scout leader. I have been a Scoutmaster of our local Boy Scout troop for about 10 years.
- What is your favorite book?
I love audiobooks – both fiction and non-fiction. I follow about a dozen detective and spy novel series. I barely finish one book before teeing up another.
- What is one of your favorite concerts that you have been too?
About two and a half years ago, I was treated to an Eagles concert in Birmingham, AL. As a novice guitar player, this was a super-special treat. I was mesmerized by the 2+ hour high-energy performance of 71-year-old Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and the others.
- What is your favorite part about working at HPA?
It’s been an amazing 15 years at HPA, I absolutely enjoy working with all of my internal and external peers, and am committed to providing long-term value to our amazing clients. I’ve said it many times, our clients deserve the best, and it’s our duty to deliver only the best of designs and customer experience. I look forward to another 15 years or more at HPA serving our New Orleans team and our clients.
