As the #1-ranked multifamily architecture firm in North America, Humphreys & Partners heavily relies on our talented team members from around the globe to create innovative, one-of-a-kind communities. As the project manager, My’s responsibilities range from design development to the final phases of construction administration. Day to day, she works alongside consultants and engages clients, and serves as the main point of contact for Revit troubleshooting in the Houston office. She is also working on creating and facilitating an onboarding curriculum to assist new hires. Get to know My outside the office and see what makes her a true icon of #HumphreysHeroes culture:

What is your alma mater?

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design.

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to Houston when I was six years old and have been here ever since.

What are your hobbies outside of the office?

I enjoy arts and crafts, I have about 30 plus plants, and two cats named Chop and Ollie.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? And why?

I would really like to be somewhere tropical by the beach. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve had the opportunity to just bum on the beach (Galveston doesn’t count).

What would be your last meal?

Pizza. I really love pizza.

What is the best concert you have ever been to?

I’ve gone to quite a few really good concerts so it’s hard to pick, but the best one that I’ve gone to for this year so far is ‘Kygo’ during SXSW.

What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?

The different varieties of projects that we get to work on. There’s always something new to learn.
