Happy New Year from all of us at Humphreys & Partners! From the exciting announcement of new CEO Megan Dimmer to the our futuristic, beehive-inspired design being selected as an Uber Elevate finalist, 2018 was a big year for Humphreys and our teams around the globe. The groundbreaking multifamily innovation and unparalleled client satisfaction that Humphreys is renowned for did not go unnoticed– Building Design + Construction ranked Humphreys & Partners #1 Architecture Firm in Multifamily Sector for the second year in a row. And while all of these milestones mean a great deal to our Humphreys team, the most meaningful achievement over the past year was our partnership with Family Gateway, a nonprofit based in Downtown Dallas that provides stability and life-changing supportive services to children and families affected by homelessness.

“One of our greatest achievements last year that will continue into 2019, is the positive impact we are making on local families affected by homelessness,” said Humphreys’ CEO Megan Dimmer. “We are honored to be working with Family Gateway, a Dallas organization that provides amazing programs, emergency shelter and housing services for 400 families and over 800 children every year affected by homelessness.”

Year over year, Humphreys’ mission to cultivate community through design is deeply inspired by the communities in which we live and work – which is why we partnered with Family Gateway. Since November was Homelessness Awareness Month, Humphreys first partnered with Family Gateway for our Thanksgiving nonprofit initiative and for the entire month our Dallas office gathered food donations and then served a Thanksgiving dinner at the shelter. Humphreys continued its support of the Dallas-based nonprofit in December with an office toy drive, employee volunteering day and a silent auction at the corporate holiday party with all proceeds going to Family Gateway. Humphreys’ employees ended 2018 with a bang by raising an incredible $4,635 at the silent auction for families in need!
