As the #1 multifamily architecture firm in North America, Humphreys & Partners’ (HPA) mission to cultivate community through design is deeply inspired by the communities in which we live and work. November is Homelessness Awareness Month – in honor of this special month HPA partnered with Family Gateway for our Thanksgiving nonprofit initiative: a month-long food drive and a volunteer night at their facilities. Located in Downtown Dallas, Family Gateway provides stability and life-changing supportive services to children and families affected by homelessness in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. On Tuesday, November 20, we invited HPA Dallas colleagues to join in spending an evening with local families serving them a Thanksgiving meal and spending quality time together.
“Family Gateway is an amazing organization that provides incredible programs to families affected by homelessness, from supportive housing to education programs for children,” said Alexa Rourk, Junior Designer at HPA Dallas. She continued, “Having volunteered with this organization previously, I knew the positive impact HPA could make during the holiday season for families without homes.”
