As the junior project coordinator, Shraddha works on a range of multifamily projects from design development through construction administration, her main responsibilities include preparing and modifying architectural documents by utilizing building Information modeling and maintaining communication with consultants and clients to develop solutions to technical and design issues. Get to know Shraddha outside the office and see what makes them a true icon of HPA culture.

 

What is your alma mater?

I received my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ansal University, India, and my master’s in architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

 

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in a city in Northern India called Gurgaon located in the national capital region of India, neighboring New Delhi. While growing up, I witnessed the city grow from a small rural town to the country’s second-largest information technology hub.

 

What are your hobbies outside of the office?

I love reading, painting, and am a professional Indian classical dancer (Kathak).

 

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I’m fond of history and archeology so maybe ancient Egypt or Rome. At the moment if I were to travel anywhere in the world, I would probably go home and see my family and friends.

 

What would be your last meal?

Pizza and tiramisu.

 

What/who gives you the most joy in life and why?

My one-year-old niece. I was the only family member who was able to be with my sister during her birth because of the pandemic and it was an experience I can never forget.

 

What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?

The people – everyone is committed to working and learning together as a team.
