Serving as an architect in our Uruguay office, Sebastian’s main responsibility includes the creation and development of construction documentation to ensure each building meets constructability. He closely works alongside project managers to ensure the overall integrity of his assigned projects meet HPA standards. Get to know Sebastian outside the office and see what makes him a true icon of HPA culture.

 

What is your alma mater?

I received my master’s degree in Architecture Planning from the “Universidad of La República” in Montevideo. After a few years of architectural practice, I attended the “Universidad de Santiago de Compostela” in Spain where I received a second master’s degree in Renewable Energy Sustainability applied for buildings.

 

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but when I was a child my parents moved to Montevideo, Uruguay where I grew up in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by a lot of friends.

 

What are your hobbies outside of the office?

I enjoy going for walks, photography, fishing, and watching movies.

 

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I would like to travel to Dallas and have the opportunity to meet the team that I’ve worked closely with for the past five years.

 

What would be your last meal?

Barbecue.

 

What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?

I enjoy working on complex, high-rise buildings. Figuring out a solution to a difficult problem is incredibly rewarding.
