As the junior project coordinator, Jonathan works on multifamily and student housing projects with responsibilities ranging from BIM model coordination, consultant coordination, training of new hires, and development of construction documentation from design development through construction administration. What is your alma mater?
I completed my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in 2017. Gig’em! I then received my graduate degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Laredo, Texas. It is a small border city in south Texas where breezes literally feel like a blow drier.
What are your hobbies outside of the office?
I really enjoy traveling and enjoying other countries cultures. I have picked up hiking over the past 2 years and I have slowly been checking national parks off the list. I hope to one day go up a fourteener!
If you could travel anywhere where would it be? And why?
Switzerland! You can get the best of both worlds, beautiful cities, and gorgeous landscapes!
What would be your last meal?
Steak, mashed potatoes, and fries. People judge me on double potatoes, but I really like potatoes.
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
That’s a tough one. It’s definitely a draw between Metallica at ACL 2018, Post Malone at Posty Fest 2019, or Billie Eilish at ACL 2021.
What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?
My team! I really enjoy working with my team as we get along very well and get to joke around. I also really appreciate my supervisors and their willingness to help us younger staff develop our skills in the industry.
