Halloween is a special holiday for Humphrey & Partners Architects. As the leading multifamily design firm in the world, we are passionate about creativity and self-expression in everything we do– particularly when it comes to costumes and pumpkin decorating. Research has shown that encouraging creativity in the workplace does wonders for productivity and innovation – and what better time to test this workplace theory than on Halloween. In years past, our colleagues have displayed an amazing talent for creating costumes that displayed their hobbies, interests and diverse backgrounds. Our equally celebrated pumpkin decorating contest has produced an array of contemporary jack-o-lanterns dolled up to look like everything from Star Wars to replicas of our award-winning designs.

Harsha Bhagchandani, HPA Job Captain, looks forward to the annual Halloween celebration with colleagues: “We always have such a fun time! HPA and a few other OneHumphreys teams get together, eat some terrific food and enjoy the spectacle.” Harsha’s submission for the pumpkin decorating contest this year – an impressive replica of our Uber Skyport design that’s currently being studied by NASA — took home 2nd prize. “We’re a hardworking team, so it’s great to work for a company that encourages us to relax, have fun and show some personality.”
