As the #1-ranked multifamily architecture firm in North America, Humphreys & Partners Architects heavily relies on its talented team from around the world to create innovative, one-of-a-kind communities. As the Project Manager in the Production Department, Chris’ main responsibility includes managing multiple projects in production and also comes alongside other project teams to assist in delivering projects to completion. Get to know Chris outside the office and see what makes him a true icon of HPA culture.

What is your alma mater?

Kansas State University.

Where did you grow up?

Through the years, I’ve lived in several places, but I grew up in Dallas, Texas.

What are your hobbies outside of the office?

“If you dig it, do it. If you dig it a lot, do it twice.”- Jim Croce.

I enjoy bicycles, skateboarding, golf, and fishing. Don’t get me started with any of these… it could be hours.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I would like to travel to the Scottish Highlands where I share family lineage from both my mother and father’s great-grandparents.

What would be your last meal?

Anything creole, but I would settle for coffee and beignets any morning in the French Quarter.

What/who gives you the most joy in life and why?

My family. Through the tides and rough weather, they are my anchor.

What’s your favorite part about working at HPA?

It may sound cliché, but it’s the people. What we do at Humphreys isn’t a singular effort. It takes everyone and the unique skills that each team member provides. I work with an incredibly talented team that is receptive and communicates well. They heighten my awareness and I hope that I have done the same for them.
